Point of information: The Davis Cup is played yearly, with "playoff rounds" (they call them ties), scheduled four times a year. They should probably hold a finals every other year, because the first round for next year's cup starts in three months.

We gave it 12 inches deep inside the section. Did it only because there are guys like me who remember Jim Simpson calling the McEnroe-Whoseits match in St. Louis in '81 or '82.

The day that Canada wins the Davis Cup will be when hell freezes over.

Roger Federer needs to marry a Canadian.
    Any volunteers?

    I don't.

However, if I had a bigger paper with a wider reach, it'd get a sports front reefer to the inside.

My sister has a thing for him. I'd think she'd volunteer.

Imagine having him as my brother in law...I wonder how many events I'd get in free to ;D
I'd get lots of Swiss cheese and chocolate too.....

I like this idea. ballscribe, do you have a contact number for Federer?

Plays big in Atlanta Constitution, I'm betting.
    Front page.
They have an awesome local tennis scene there, and I'm betting the paper plays to that crowd as often as possible (which ain't often, I'm guessing).
