Nuke if this is a db...didn't see it in the Olympics thread, and thought this needed its own.

Killed one person then, and I quote, "The man then committed suicide by throwing himself from the second story of the site, the 13th century Drum Tower just five miles from the main Olympics site."

I'm eating breakfast with my buddy, his parents, and his future-in-laws an hour ago (today's his wedding), and I caught the tail end of the bottom line on ESPNews. I pulled out my BlackBerry and read the story. Everyone was in shock around the table.

I have a bad feeling that this isn't the last story of this kind.

The victim, Todd Bachman, I believe was still CEO of Bachman's in the Twin Cities, which is the most well-known florist in the state and one of the biggest in the country.

Oh Christ. Well, let's see if China ever gets another Olympic Games now.

The U.S. had a bomb go off in the middle of a tourist area during the Olympics. Should the U.S. never get the Games again?

The damage is done, unfortunately. And now it has a body count.

There were many reasons why China should never have gotten them in the first place.

I hope this guy was just some nut-job who decided on his own to take out the first round-eye he saw.
