  1. Oh, thank heavens, he's gone.

    Last word: "Wowww."

I guess that the USGA feels that having that fat tank of shit on their broadcasts will draw in non-golf fans in the hopes that they'll hear Fat Boy's voice and say "this must really be big if they have Berman there."

It's awesome logic. If it were still 1990.

No one is under par today... except for Paul Casey, and he is 4 under?

    He may lead after today.

    After shooting an opening 7-over.

  4. And he might screw over many folks relying on the 10-shot rule to make the cut. (They do have the 10-shot rule at the U.S. Open, right?)

There is the 10 shot rule -- cut could come in at 12 or 13 over. Ain't exactly the FBR Open out there.

Casey shoots 66. Very very impressive.

I'm feeling kinda bad for Lefty here. I can empathize with trying to compete when your body isn't up to it.

(And yes, I know how much money he makes, so don't throw that up. Pain is pain.)

SIDEBAR: I like the guy and all, but I've had enough of this Zach Johnson commercial....

    Rich Beem +15 today.

Adam Scott +12, Davis Love +10, Stewart Cink +10.

Damn. looks like breaking 80 is a good number today.

I put Casey in my fantasy lineup last night ... then took him back out. D'oh!

Yeah, but he does that at TPC YourMother on any given day, then follows it up with a 68.

Woods will lead by at least five going into the final round.
