Hey Slappy... nice job putting David Toms on your Yahoo roster and not playing him today... how's Eldrick doing...

It will always baffle how a man with the voice and vibrato of an iron worker has lasted as long as he has.

He was just blowing at the microphone to get Luke Donald's ball to fall. So now all of America knows what it's like to be a hooker underneath Berman when he's getting close...

Anyone having trouble with these online leaderboards? One point JMO was -5 then said he was only -2... for the longest time it said Tiger was E when his scorecard said -1... some aren't loading... it's rather frustrating.

Online scoring is a disaster so far . . . USGA site unable to load for hours, PGA Tour scores about two hours behind. May as well wait to get tomorrow's newspaper to see who's leading.

definitely. Been on cbssportsline and they are definitely way behind on bunches of golfers. Unless said golfers are taking an hour to an hour and a half each hole.

Oh, and they had Toms at -2 for the day and -3 for the tourney, which is quite the trick for round one.

"Usually guys make birdies, sometimes eagles, on the par 5s. But here you get the feeling they'd take 20 for the day, right?"

    No shit.

Am I the only one who finds some meaning in the fact that Tiger wears red on Sundays, while Lefty's wearing his bright red shirt on Thursday?
