U.S. Open running thread

    I'm gonna take Dinara Safina for the women (mostly because I adore her bro) and Novak Djokovic for the men.

    I'm not nearly as excited about this tourney as I was about the Olympics though.

    The Open is a great ANNUAL event, far better than sports we don't give a shit about for the better part of 4 years.

    This is Federer's revenge tournament. And I like Ivanovic.

    Ivanovich has a thumb injury, a pretty bad one that's kept her from practicing.
