To be fair, the military isn't recruiting the dumbest of the dumbest, but on the flip side, isn't aiming to fill the enlisted ranks with the brightest of the bunch, either. The world needs ditch diggers, burger flippers, doctors, lawyers, journalists, and infantry.

In addition, soldiers don't pee on corpses, they tie a collar on naked prisoners and lead them on a leash.

 

Reactionary would be losing your mind because some soldiers pissed on dead terrorists.

 

Noted. And agreed. However, the brush with which Alma paints is quite broad. And it isn't the first time he's been flippant about it. Also, you'd be quite suprised at the number of bachelor's educations amongst the enlisted.

The people we send, as you put it, are the same age as the ones we sent during WWI and WWII, and those in the latter groups seem to have done pretty well for themselves with their "major college football teams".

 

1. To piss on them is deplorable.
2. To video pissing on them is stupid.
3. To distribute that video to anyone is insanely destructive.

 

Bingo. And to try to rationalize any of this behavior is ridiculous.
