When I was in HS and ILC was on, I saw Tommy Davidson at a comedy club. He was pretty funny and did a bit on Prince that was hilarious.

I saw him on TV a few months ago and his act was almost identical to what it was in 1990 or so...

His stand up back then was hysterical. I don't think I've seen him in anything for 10 years or more.

David Alan Grier was on Carolla's podcast and he said "there was no way in hell" that the sketches that they got away with then could be done today.

He mentioned "Men on Film" specifically and seemed to allude to "Handyman".

He was in Black Dynamite. Pretty good in it too.

I've heard great things about that movie. Never saw it though...

Has anyone seen him lately? Not I?
    Hey! What's that smell?
I don't know, but I got a nice new jacket!

In Living Color was very hit or miss, but they they hit it was great.

What was amazing about that show was the number of careers that it launched, not to mention showed how many different Wayans brothers/sisters there were, there's like 20 or 30 of them!

Do they use one of Heavy D's themes from the 90s? Was he working on a new one? Now that he's no longer with us, do the Wayans task another overweight lover (Cee Lo Green?) with that duty?
