    Good media work there, Buck.
Take a quote, delete what you want of it, and stick it out there the way YOU want it to sound.
I've always said we've got some damn fine, ethical, hard-working, true-to-the-profession media members who post here.

    He has a point.

At least, from the Kentucky point of view.

Besides, it's an anonymous message board. (Was going to call it "an anonymous fucking message board" but I didn't want onlookers to get the idea that sportswriters can actually get laid.)

The NCAA really did what I said.
Took 3 friggin' years to do an "investigation" after first proclaiming that "a letter of inquiry had been sent."
Three years to do the damn investigation.
And the penalty was ultimately what amounted to a slap on the wrist.

Did three classes of recruits hear stories of how MSU was on the hot list?
For sure they did. And many chose to not enroll.

The NCAA is in many respects awful with regard to how they conduct business.
They are concerned with making money, first and foremost.

Blitz, you're the most paranoid fanboi on this site. Everyone's always out to get the poor ole MSU Bulldogs. So you think the NCAA intentionally tried to stretch out MSU's investigation just to cast a "shroud" on you guys? This goddamn conspiracy has to stop.

For god's sake, it's MISSISSIPPI STATE BASKETBALL! Who gives a shit? They're a middling-to-good program with a few better than good years.

Let's not act like they're fucking UNC or Kansas, OK?

I bet Jackie Sherrill's bull still feels a negative aura.

You "reporters" keep hiding here on the "sports journalism" board and throw your stones.
I guess you all are okay with three-year investigations by the NCAA.

Go write your 20-inch, week-to-week, back-slappin' gamers and features.
You'll be kissing Sidney's ass postgame, then you can come here to SJ's safe haven and rip him a new one.

And I'm leading the SJ Pro Pick 'Em game, plus in second place in the college game.
    So there!

    (And kiss it, IJAG)

If you hate it so much here, you can leave you know. Door doesn't lock from the outside.

    I love it here.
Don't see me asking for the door do you?

But you hate us all here, and you call us "reporters" just because we don't sniff out things around your favorite program.

And trust me...if I were an MSU hoops fan, I'd probably want reporters to NOT do too much investigating.
