We spent a four-day weekend in Hot Springs a few years back. We hit the bath house, as well. Pretty good time, albeit a bit awkward at first. Later we hit the track and saw the Arkansas Derby, a $1M payout race on ESPN (I think). Had a blast. Not much to do there for a week's stay, but a long weekend is perfect. Find a little B&B and have a blast.

The barbecue place there (Can't remember the name) blows, though. Clinton lost some of my respect the day we ate there.

 

McClard's is the BBQ joint TBF is thinking of, I'd guess, and it does, indeed, suck.
Hot Springs is about right at three days, after that, unless you had a boat for one of the lakes, it would get pretty boring, pretty fast.

 

I think Hot Springs was FDR's western White House, IIRC

 

You might be thinking of Warm Springs, and that's in Georgia.
