Twittering games

    I, too, am one who thinks it will die down some sooner than later. It already has to a certain extent in my area already.

    Like it or not, right now Twitter is all the rage with employers in a wide range of media fields (even if they have no idea what it is or how to use it, they know the name). So jumping on the bandwagon can at the very least give you a job skill that is very marketable right now.

    And in a lot of situations, I would rather use Twitter to microblog and interact with fans and followers than wait for traffic to come to a blog that relies so heavily on placement and play on a news organization's Web site. I hate relying on other people to drive traffic my way when I could do it myself, and probably more effectively and efficiently.
