    Keep in mind that followers does not include those who do not want to sign up for another Internet account, but do bookmark your Twitter page or click a link off your website/blog/Facebook page.

    It makes zero sense for an entity to break news on Twitter. Zero benefit. None.
    Should be posted on the website, then tweeted. Even then, how many people click into the biturl or tinyurls? But, at least, there's some direction.
