A party to a lawsuit, doing everything he/she could to tip the scales his/her way? Gobsmacked I am! And, really, that is some seriously good digging by the Journal-Sentinel. You don't come across something like that every day.

Instead of criticizing Walker for some investigation that went nowhere, where is the liberal criticism of spending $400 million for a new arena that won't come close to paying for itself in the form of increased economic activity in the state.

Um, the vote in the Wisconsin Senate to approve it was 21-10.

Republicans voted in favor of it by a 15-3 margin.

Democrats were split, with 6 voting for it, 7 against it.

Now, just looking at those numbers, it seems that the Party of Small Government is the party that's very much in favor of giving billionaires hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer gifts while the other party, or least slightly more than half of them, seem to care where the money goes.

So where's the conservative criticism again? Oh yeah, I forgot. That arena will be paid for, with the $250 million in cuts from the state's university system. Would you care to guess which party voted for that, and which party voted against that?
