    I think his brother capitalized on his death. However I must admit, he has gotten better as an actor. Would he have gotten better if John were around? I don't think so.

    The best thing about the Blues Brothers was the band. Despite the presence of the loathsome Paul Shaffer (even though he is a Canuck) those guys could play, especially the immortal Matt "Guitar" Murphy.

    I grew up on the early SNL. Loved the Bees, shit like "Samurai Night Fever" and Belushi's Joe Cocker is among the funniest things I've ever seen. The super hero party, where Belushi as (I think) the Hulk, stinks up the can never fails to make me laugh like hell.

    Belushi's 'Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood' bits were great, too.

    I'm with the crowd that could take or leave his SNL stuff. He was in some good movies, though.
