    Looking for recommendations in all areas of interest.
    Who do you follow for timely/interesting/informative/entertaining tweets?
    And who have you tried and unfollowed?

    (Apologies because I'm sure we've had this thread 20 times, and I never paid attention.)

    I just signed up because I thought it would be interesting to follow some people.

    I'm still discovering people. So far, I'm following some political writers/commentators, some national baseball & Yankee writers and some chefs.

    A couple of people I've liked so far and who might have broad appeal are Romenesko -- I find myself clicking on lots of his links -- and Rick_Bayless. He posts lots of pictures of the food he's eating & cooking. He also answers people's questions.

    @SI_JonHeyman and @SI_PeterKing are both very good. I stopped following virtually all of the ESPN guys because most of their tweets are promoting something they've posted on the Insider page.

    I followed Roger Ebert for a while, but the guy just tweets too damn much, about absolutely anything. It gets old fast.

    @wootoff updates anytime something new pops up in a WootOff.

    Most of the accounts I follow are too specialized for a general recommendation.

    @GreggDoyelCBS of course

    @ebertchicago is great.

    I follow a lot of Cleveland athletes. Mostly I learn nothing from them, but it's interesting to be "in the loop", I suppose.

    Of course there's @FanHouseMike!

    I like @darrenrovell for a business take on sports.

    The ones in the Bose 301. In the older models, the sound can be aimed with deflectors if one knows how to take the grilles off without damaging the casing.

    (Bose 901s are better, but the speakers consist strictly of drivers controlled by a special equalizer).

    :D

    Love Ebert. Mike Vaccaro is terrific during a game. I have a smallish professional crush on Darren Rovell's tweets.

    Steve Martin has been tweeting all week about an airline trip gone awry, flight is currently somewhere near Saturn, I believe. @SteveMartinToGo, is that how you say it? Clueless. Sorry.

    Never thought of woot, thanks for that one!

    I also follow Doyel. I think @denisleary can be really funny sometimes, too. @breakingnews is a must follow since it points you to so much different stuff. I'm digging @Esquiremag as well.
