    Ours is going for the heartwarming approach. Report on some experimental drug that could cure cancer ... in kids!!! Lots of tears.

    Did the one of the station's also have his face painted in the local big school's colors and fellate it's coach on the air, all in the name of being a big-time reporter?

    A local CBS affiliate did a hard-hitting piece on how people (gasp!) speed through school zones at 11:30 in the morning "putting your kids in danger" (the dude going 28 in a 20 while your kids are behind a brick wall is probably not putting anybody in danger save himself).

    Unfortunately, it led to a clarification of state law. Now, instead of the school zone signs saying "speed limit 20 when children are present," it now says "speed limit 20, 7 a.m-4 p.m." Some speed-trap happy communities set it at ridiculous hours, like 7-7 (how many kids are you endangering by going 35mph down a road at 6:55 p.m.?)
