b.) The Patriots did not "start winning trophies" after Parcells left ... in fact, Carroll/Grier took them four steps backward. It only was after the Pats gave up a first-round draft pick for Belichick (to the Parcells-GMed Jets) that they recreated the success they enjoyed under Parcells.
