    Heard indirectly about this earlier tonight. Terrible story.

    He'd apparently been with the team fewer than three weeks. It was his first coaching gig.

    Holy shit. That's just fucking awful. I can't even comprehend seeing that.

    Not quite the exact same scenario, but now Ben Chapman has some company.

    That's beyond awful.

    I saw Coolbaugh play a few games for the Brewers during his brief MLB career.

    Holy shit.

    As someone who has shot his share of HS, Legion and college ball from directly behind the coaches box, that's scary as hell.

    I'm an idiot. Yes. Ray Chapman.

    BYH = fraud

    Oh wow. That's sad news. I can't even imagine the shock of the people who did see it. RIP.

    Apparently, Coolbaugh had two kids under the age of 10 and his wife is pregnant with their third child.

    So breathtakingly horrible.

    I'm assuming he was the brother of former Texas Rangers infielder Scott Coolbaugh?

    Just awful. And it happened with a ball hit off a wood bat, too (I presume that's the case if it's pro ball).
