  2. Mothman Prophecies. "Based on a true story" despite the fact it's about a weird moth-like creature ... never got it. Oh, add the Ring as well. What a crazy piece of crap that was.

Thanks! I remember hearing about this but had forgotten the name.
It's in my Netflix queue now.

This isn't really a strange film, but it was to me.
I just watched Fun with Dick and Jane. I got it from Netflix because I thought it was a comedy and it turned out to have some quality social commentary.
My favorite part was at the end when the movie "thanks" all the fuckers from Enron and whatnot.

Anyway, with Random Thoughts closed this was the only place I could think to put these thoughts.

lost highway. I didn't get it and didn't like it.

in a completely different vein, one that I wasn't expecting to be as weird as it was was 'cable guy.'

"I used to fuck guys like you in prison."
    Never really understood that line.

My strange one was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
That movie lost me at "Directed by..."

    Dead. To. Me.

Greatest movie ever not in the Star Wars or LOTR family.

    Woman, please.
I'd put a half dozen Charlie Sheen movies and Anal-yze This III over Eternal.

I will not be swayed. I watch it like once a week. Wonderful flick. Kate Winslett is brilliant and Jim Carrey good.

    You remain Dead. To. Me.

    Major League
    Navy Seals
    Terminal Velocity
    Eight Men Out
    Platoon
    Men at Work

Hell, I'd even consider episode 16 of Two and a Half Men.

Eight Men Out and Platoon were great.

That you acknowledge seeing Navy Seals concerns me.
