    Too skinny.

    Cogburn needs to be a big man, I think. I may get this book and give it a read.

    I was thinking Tom Hanks, but he is not big enough either.

    That would be a good one. I know he's too old now, but Gene Hackman came to mind as well. Same for Robert Duvall.

    They definitely are. Both would have been perfect 10-15 years ago though.

    Really fired up for this. The Coen Brothers are at their best with movies set in remote parts of America (No Country, O Brother, Fargo).

    That's funny, I definitely did not remember that. I was probably 12 when I saw the original.
