    Alan Ball's new series had a promising beginning yesterday....

    Next week, it looks like it majorly picks up steam.

    Love Ball's sensibilities.

    And, 16 years after being nominated for The Piano, Kiwi Anna Paquin is cutesy hot, totally paving over her accent for the role.

    The premise of vampires having sex is an interesting one.

    I loved Six Feet under, and I think this series has terrific possibilities.

    People doing over the top Southern accents kills me. Her's wasn't terrible, but some were.

    I hope the series is good. I liked the first episode pretty well.
