    I'll toss this question out only because it's late and my brain's fried:

    What major-league pitcher has the most career victories without ever winning the Cy Young Award?

    PS: I love stories like Jamie Burke's. One or two years in the majors, at about $700 K combined, can change their life completely after a long career of scrimping in the minors. Gets him a great nest egg, time on his pension, perhaps a chance to work in the organization after he's done.

    One more year for ARod at $25million doesn't make a big difference, should it?

    Of course, 700K is 15 years work or more for many of us.
