    Seeing Boots on masthead made me think it was about Halle Berry. I just watched Monsters Ball a few weeks ago.

    EdSev is spot-on about the salary stuff, which seemed quite amazing back in the day.

    If I remember correctly, I believe Hal served as the best man at Pete's wedding.

    Hal's a good guy.
    Of course, he does love him some Selig.
    That's not a crime.

    And he's hardly alone.
    Nope, you can't hold it against him.
    Although some people will.
    Losers, I say.

    Losers.
    Old Hal will go down as a legend.
    Vast legions of young 'uns will never know his greatness.
    Everyone who knows him will agree.
