Bourdain is outstanding. He's like House MD with a travel show.

My favorite part is how fearless he is. He won't go out of the way looking for weird things to eat, but sometimes the locals like to challenge the American and he always comes through.

Samantha Brown is annoying. Anthony Bourdain is not.

I don't get to watch "No Reservations" as much as I should, but every time I watch it I am intrigued, both by the food and by the locales. The episode in Key West was excellent.

"Man vs. Food" - So. Freaking. Funny.

No travel show on the planet even approaches this guy.

The episode of No Reservations where he was stuck in (I think) Beirut was one of the best things I've ever seen on TV.

Agreed. The ones from Mexico are really, really good, too.

Amen to that. And he's all the more badass because he looks like a square but is, in fact, a stoner/marijuana reform activist. His radio show (which is Podcasted) is a treat.

I'm also a big fan of "Globe Trekker," which occasionally appears on Travel but is more often on PBS.

I had no idea he was a stoner. I like him even more, now.

Another vote for Bourdain. That show rocks.

The mere thought of Bourdain has me sliding off my chair.

    You should try Depends.

I liked watching the Travel Channel a lot more when it was about traveling and destinations rather than weird food. And thank the gods they're over their poker addiction.

Let's be honest, if you want to see weird food you have the original Japanese version of Iron Chef.

And I would love to be stranded on a desert island with Samantha Brown.
