Clever stuff. How long did it take you to figure out what this is?

Within a minute ... after you click "find out how" it says something about it being an "anti-mutant defense system."

The Sentinel looks like a more malevolent version of The Iron Giant.

I'm a big enough nerd to have figured it out before I opened the thread. But it's still interesting. This is so much more effective than a trailer in luring in existing fans, though I don't think it will do much in attracting people who weren't already X-Men fans to some degree.

But existing fans will see the next X-Men movie regardless of that website.
It's very cool, but from a marketing aspect I don't think it's very effective.

True. Any X-Men fan is going to recognize the name Trask. I was going to see this anyway, but I'm more excited about it now and the site is pretty cool.

I was also curious about the reaction of people who aren't X-Men fans.

I'm not old by any means but the first thing that popped into my head was Working Girl.

I recognized the name from some type of fiction before going in the site.

I sent it to my wife earlier. She thought it was some kind of Transformers thing.

Just read a thriller where one of the evil characters was named Jacob Trask -- The Operative, by Andrew Britton
