Speaking of GI Joe. I'd love to see an action movie made based on the cartoon of the 80s.

Someone needs to make a T-shirt that says "My Bumblebee is a VW."

And I plan on seeing this movie as soon as I get a chance, hopefully next week.

If people will watch a man on an island talk to a volleyball for three hours, they will watch snake eyes.

I'm going to see it this week with a couple of friends. I'm kind of worried, only because I worry Michael Bay will have ruined it.

Someone said it earlier on this thread. If you're going to Transformers and expect to see King Lear, you're gonna be disappointed. But if you're going for a couple hours of mindless explosions, you should feel like you got your money's worth.

I will see Transformers...I will NEVER watch a G.I. Joe live-action movie without Snake Eyes. And at the time, G.I. Joe was the one I liked better. I even watched that ridiculous cartoon movie with Cobra-La.... more than once...

    Blasphemy.

    Transformers had better songs.

Sometimes when your hopes have all been shattered
    And there's nowhere to turn
You wonder how you keep going
Think of all the things that really mattered
    And the chances you've earned
The fire in your heart is growing
You can fly, if you try leaving the past behind
Heaven only knows what you might find

Dare - dare to believe you can survive
You hold the future in your hand
Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive
It's time to take a stand
And you can win, if you dare

Everybody's trying to break your spirit
    Keeping you down
    Seems like it's been forever
But there's another voice if you'll just hear it
    Saying it's the last round
Looks like it's now or never
Out of the darkness you stumble into the light
Fighting for the things you know are right

Dare - dare to believe you can survive
The power is there at your command
Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive
It's time to take a stand
And you can win, if you dare

Dare - dare to believe you can survive
You hold the future in your hand
Dare - dare to keep all of your dreams alive
The power is there at your command

Dare - dare to keep all your love alive
Dare to be all you can be
Dare - 'cause there is a place where dreams survive
And it's calling you on to victory

Transformers probably had the better show (the original, not that Beast Wars crap). Definitely had the better cartoon movie.

G.I. Joe had the better comic, even with the gratuitous Spider-Man appearance for one issue of Transformers.

Michael Bay parks in handicapped spaces.

Absolutely. I stopped collecting at No. 72. Until the three Joes were in a Gulag and broken out by the ninjas, it was a good comic.
