I overslept for church this morning so will be going this evening. Your mother-in-law and your family is in my prayers.

Thanks to all who sent PMs, who posted in this thread, and who expressed sympathies and good thoughts.

She passed away Sunday evening at 9:30 p.m. My mother-in-law was 67 years old, but looked about 45. She was in excellent shape physically, borne out when her heart kept pumping for nearly 20 minutes after the machines were disconnected. But her high blood pressure caught up, causing a brain aneurysm a week ago today that left her bedridden and unresponsive. They declared her brain dead Sunday, though we knew the score by Thursday evening.

Lot of tears, lot of heartbreak. We'll really miss her around here.
