I'm just anticipating all the backlash propaganda that will be placed out there by the side of the ball who lose money on this and the people that believe the propaganda.

The question isn't when they will have the technology but when it will be affordable.

Screw that. Work on teleportation. Of course, if I were to "crash" into Kate Upton, en route, I may have to teleport back to the house, never to leave again. :D

You rear end someone due to following too closely. Your error. That person wasn't wearing a seatbelt, broke his neck and died.

You are overcome with anguish. Your error contributed to a person's death.

If the other driver had been wearing his seatbelt, he suffers only a bad case of whiplash.

    Get it?

Thank goodness the military was encouraging seat belts years before the government mandated it, to the point of placing percentages of people the MPs recorded using them per month.

Only if the Paulbot teabaggers get their wish and critically injured uninsured persons are turned away at emergency rooms.

    "Let them die!!"

In a free society, people should be able to do stupid and wreckless things that hurt no one but themselves. That's what freedom is about.

Still, in a country where the President thinks he can kill American citizens without a trial, selt-belt laws are small potatoes.

Have you ever drank a 32-ounce soda? Eaten crappy, unhealthy fast food? Do all your showers have non-slip mats? Is all the yogurt in your fridge before the expiration date?

Have you ever smoked a cigarette? Do you sit in your job all day, putting you at greater risk of a heart attack? Ever crossed a street without looking both ways four times? Ever rode a motorcycle without a helmet (something not against the law)? A skateboard? Have you ever ridden a bicycle in traffic? Ever gone skiing?

We don't control people's behaviors when it comes to a lot of things that put people in emergency rooms and the reason isn't because anyone revels in other people dying.

I suppose the same could be said about suicide, since the only person physically harmed is the one who made a decision about his or her life. But we all know that's not true, don't we?

Many states require helmets for motorcyclists.

That's a better argument (a slippery slope-type argument) than 'victimless crime.'
