    You're still the man, Doogs...

Regarding Love, one thing I haven't seen mentioned here is he throws the best outlet pass these eyes have seen since, probably, Wes Unseld. Of course, they disappear come playoff time, but it would be interesting to watch him fire them off to James for 82.

Jake, you won't even get me to bite on that comparison.

Anyway, Harris just got two years guaranteed, so he's probably not going to be involved in any Love trade.

Not sure where those better trade offers are. Say the Cavs offers Waiters, Bennett and a No. 1 pick. What tops that?

Bulls reportedly offered Taj Gibson, Jimmy Butler and future assets. Warriors reportedly haven't made Thompson available. Celtics have a couple first-round picks, maybe some throw-ins like Olynyk.

The Cavs would have a competitive offer without including Wiggins, which is why if I'm Cleveland, I'm in no rush to include him in any trade. Full of potential, rookie salary scale. There's a value to that. Could be the best player in a T-Wolves trade in five years, which might not mean much now, but sure would if you want a lengthier window with LeBron to win championships.

Two or three months of a rookie season wouldn't change the Wiggins trade chip. He would be then what he is now: An immense talent who's full of potential to become the best player in any Love trade. If you're the T-Wolves, if you're willing to make the trade now, you're willing to make that same deal in February even if Wiggins struggles out of the gate, because they need to gamble on high-end talent in any trade they make.

And if you're the Cavs, if Wiggins does struggle, they would only be more comfortable to include him in any trade.

The thing about Wiggins. Like cars, they drop in value as soon as the regular season begins when people realize they can't leap over tall buildings and make half-court shots blindfolded. Right now, every rookie still has "huge upside."

The title "Trading Kevin Love" sounds like a movie that should star Jason Biggs.

Bad comparison. Cars depreciate the moment you drive it off the lot. Rookies have room to grow and progress on an upward arc, which is why even during rookie seasons, rookies still have "huge upside." It would take a surgery/injury to deflate the Wiggins trade chip in any way.

Especially rookies who only spent one year in school. Wiggins could be mediocre for a year or two before turning into one of the better players in the league.

I'm sorry but nobody was still talking about Anthony Bennett's "huge upside" by the mid-point of his rookie year. And there's not a chance in hell he could've been traded mid-season for the same value he would've drawn pre-season.

The basketball world notices very quickly when a top pick comes out of the gate struggling mightily. And it'd assuredly notice if Wiggins lays an early turd as well.

Nobody was really talking about Anthony Bennett's huge upside during the draft, at least not in the way they were about Wiggins, Parker and other this year. Bennett went No. 1 in a terrible draft when somebody had to be picked first. Even with that, Bennett looks like he's in better shape and played very well at Summer League. His trade value could go up fast if he produces a little early in the season.

Bennett is 2013 for Pervis Ellison.

Hard to say whether they disappear come playoff time, as The TWolves haven't made the playoffs. I would imagine he'd throw a few in the playoffs with LeBron on his team, don't you?
