Do any Canadianos or non-Canadianos know how many of these 122 Star employees were (or are to be) newsroom people? And how many were/are "voluntary" and how many involuntary?

One of those to take a buyout is Rick Matsumoto, who has covered the Canadian Football League for about as long as I've been alive.

    Damit, that just sucks.

Always enjoyed reading his CFL preview in the Street & Smith's NFL annual.

He also covered auto racing for years and years and years. It'll be a shame to see him go.

Anybody know who the other Star buyouts in sports are? I'm hoping Chris Zelkovich, their media/TV guy isn't one of them. Like his stuff.
