The red portion of the map is almost entirely the former City of Toronto before douchebag Premier Mike Harris railroaded amalgamation. It has turned out to be exactly the opposite of what Harris claimed---that it would be more efficient and less costly.

He blew up former Metro Toronto which included the original City of Toronto plus independent suburban cities such as Etobicoke, Scarborough, etc. Each of them had their own mayor and councillors and each city had two (?) representatives plus their mayors at Metro Toronto which had a Metro Chairman. It worked very well because there was local government and local control PLUS clout at the Metro level.

Ford created a class war between the 'burbs and downtowners to win the last election.

And we did NOT vote for the lying piece of shit, alcoholic, druggie and bully Rob Ford.

 

This was great -- an investigation into the long and glorious history of the Ford family and drugs. Doug, who I gather is now kind of a big deal at the mayor's office, was a well-known hashish dealer; Randy was once charged with a drug-related kidnapping; and their sister was once shot in the face by her drug-dealer boyfriend, who later went on to threaten to kill the mayor.

Doug has Rob's old seat as a City Councilor but has pretty much been the 'other Mayor' from day one. This whole mess gets worse and worse. The word du jour is 'schadenForde'.

 

That's some good work there. Glad to see they do background checks at city hall in Toronto.

Doug Ford Jr. sounds like the white, Canadian, real-life version of Avon Barksdale. Whole family dedicated to keeping his rap sheet clean and his identity unknown.
