A massive tornado hit central Arkansas and a drone got some amazing footage of the aftermath.

It's the same wreckage over and over.

Vilonia was hit three years and two days after another tornado destroyed the town. They just finished a $12m intermediate school that was to open this fall, it was destroyed.

Death toll at 16 now, which wasn't enough for any of the news networks - other than The Weather Channel - to break out of reruns and cover it.

No word I've seen on injuries yet, but a large tornado raked Tupelo, Miss., within the past hour.
Hope HejiraHenry and Co. are safe.

    It's pretty bad there.

Local radar there is picking up a debris ball, which is always a horrible sign.

This meteorologist did a great job imparting info while also keeping everyone in his own building safe. You don't see this often -- the weather guy telling everyone in the studio to get the hell out of there.

There's another large tornado on the ground near Louisville, which is just south of Starkville and Mississippi State University. MSU dismissed classes early, at 3 p.m.

Henry, who had to ditch on the way to work, is safe, as are a couple others who hang out here.

Significant damage near the intersections of U.S. 45 and 78, where a large mall was damaged.

yeah, a friend works at the D-J and reports he and his family are safe. They live in Baldwyn and that didn't get a tornado.

A little further south of Tupelo, we got the second wave of storms around dinner time. Spent some quality time in the bathtub with the wife and dog while a tornado did its thing a couple of miles away. Parts of my town are reportedly torn up. Haven't been out to look around yet. Power just came back on about 10 minutes ago.
