My memory must be going. I thought they sang Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" while behind bars, not Diana Ross.

Thankfully none of the following were nominated:

    - Necessary Roughness
    - Little Big League
    - Rookie of the Year
    - Little Giants

My vote goes to Major League, just edging out Caddyshack.

Rookie of the Year is hands-down the most HATED sports movie ever. So gawd-awful. I know it's a kids' flick, but couldn't they have made the dork's mechanics just a LITTLE realistic?

Heywood leads the league in most offensive categories, including nose hair. When this guy sneezes, he looks like a party favor.

The ending of Major League: Jake Taylor gets back with his woman, the Indians advance to the ALCS, everyone happy.

The ending of Caddyshack: A golf course explodes and a gopher dances to Kenny Loggins.

Do I even need to ask which is funnier?

EDIT: Were it not for Uecker, Major League would not have been HALF as funny.

And to start the Bull Durham quote parade:

You just got lesson number one: don't think; it can only hurt the ball club.

"The zen philosohpher Bashau once wrote, a flute with no holes is not a flute. And a donut with no hole, is a danish. Funny guy.

    Nananananananana..."

The gopher danced to Kenny Loggins.
Shit.. that's two music corrections I've made in one thread. Does that make me a movie geek or a music geek?
