Top 5 dumbest injuries I've suffered:

    1. Breaking my arm in a street fight when I was a sophomore in high school. The kid -- younger than me, but much bigger -- was an excellent wrestler and he put some sort of move on me and threw me into the ground. He later won the state title in his weight class and currently coaches one of the Bloomington, Ind. high schools.

    2. A month or so after breaking my arm, with it still in a sling, I rode my bike to school. After school, riding through some grass, I ran into a hidden, raised curb, went over the top, hit my head on the frame of the bike before going head-first into the curb itself. All in front of the bus-riders at my high school. My head has a big bump from that accident to this day.

    3. Today, grooving to some live Mott The Hoople whilst checking Facebook, SJ, F1 Rejects, my fantasy EPL team, etc., I get up to kick a stuffed soccer ball in the middle of my basement living room. Somehow, my left toe catches the carpet, my foot doesn't give, and I proceeded to shred about half my toe off in one fell swoop. The mega turf toe I have doesn't hurt that bad right now, though I bled like a stuck pig at the time, and now feel like I have 4 1/2 toes. Suck on that, Chef.

    4. Running through the woods down a ravine, I had a buck knife in my hand. Why I had a buck knife in suburban Indianapolis is anyone's guess, but I tripped and fell. As I caught myself, the knife just barely pierced my throat. One more inch and I would've been fucked.

    5. Pissed off about something long forgotten when I was at Ball State -- I think it might have been a beer buy gone wrong before I was 21 or something -- I hit my apartment wall with the meaty side of my hand. I didn't see the nail on the wall and proceeded to impale my hand on it. Didn't hurt as bad as it reads and the scar I had from it has pretty much faded out.

Chef goes all the way; you, as usual, do things half-assed... On the other hand, you could stand that much closer to the board when throwing darts
