Breakfast Club: an exercise in shallow stereotyping. Every character is a subset turned up to its highest level. The geekiest geek, the spazziest spaz, the most hostile jock. Yadda, yadda.

Don't most 16 year olds try to act older than they are? :)

    Trivia time...

Two cast members of Fast Times went on to win Academy Awards. One is pretty obvious, the other is not...

    Who are the two?

Would that be Sean Penn and Nicholas Cage?

Nice job EStreet... Or Nicholas Coppola as he was in the Fast Times credits...

Should be on this list. In its time, it was a ground-breaking film.

  8. "Teenage Caveman"

No love for Robert (The Man From UNCLE) Vaughn or Frank deKova, the future Chief Wild Eagle?
    Shameful.

BYH was too embarrased to mention his clear number 3, Teen Wolf Too, the one with Jason Bateman, not Michael J. Fox. It has a timeless, "fish out of water" quality.

  10. In fact, it has no quality at all.

Yeah, I realized that after I posted. Hell, Boyz N the Hood only makes brief mentions of school. I stand corrected. Put One Crazy Summer on the List.

I've seen only 22 of these movies, but without Not Another Teen Movie on there, this list is dead to me.
