TSN announced it's top 50 NHL Players

    Crosby's #1, OV's 2

    Some weird stuff here.

Ryan Miller is the first goalie on the list at #1 and Brodeur is #45

    Duncan Keith over Stamkos?

During Sportscentre from 6:30 to 7:00 there was about 20 minutes of hockey and ten minutes of golf, NFL, NBA and baseball.

Then TSN had non stop hockey from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. last night

First, it was That's Hockey (a daily show), then The Reporters (kinda like ESPN's The Sports Reporters), then the one hour 50 Best and then a one hour fantasy draft with the regulars like Pierre McGuire.

    It's great to be a Canuck! :)

Only 39 points separating Crosby and Ovie. Sounds about right. And I agree with the placement of 1-2.

    And we're off!

A Stanley Cup and the OT Olympic gold medal winning goal.

Yup, The Baby Jesus is #1

Some people still think Ovie's better despite not having the Cup and Olympic stuff.

    Isn't this individual?

Would you trade Ovie for Crosby?

Semin should be nowhere near this list. Unless we're talking about top 50 players against Southeast Division teams in the regular season.

Yeah, that winning the Cup and Olympic stuff doesn't count on a player's resume.

I don't think there is a right or wrong. I would personally take Crosby, plays all 200 but wouldn't argue against Ovechkin.

The problem as this thread moves on is people will get entrenched on one or the other and start picking the other guy apart. I have no doubt that Ovechkin will win a Stanley cup, none at all. I do feel Crosby is a better all around player but there is nobody as dominant as Ovechkin individually.
