'Hard Eight' was a different movie, but I didn't see it.
Was it also released under the title 'Sydney?'

My bad. That was the movie I saw, the Jarmusch movie.
    I hated it.

Taratino, Paul Thomas Anderson (even though Magnolia sucked ass), Sofia Coppala (sp?), Robert Rodriguez, Richard Linklater, Doug Liman, Wes Anderson, Kevin Smith, Coen Brothers.

That's more than five, but hey who's counting.

I'd say Steven Soderbergh with Traffic, Erin Brokovich, and Ocean's Eleven, but the other ocean's haven't measured up...

I agree and I'll add Spike Jonze to that list.

Sorry. Kevin Smith can write the hell out of a script, but he's a mediocre director.

I hated Liman when he came out with "Go" it was just another Pulp Fiction rifoff but he's done well with the Jason Bourne series; and "Swingers" was more of a Vaughn/Favreau movie. But as far as Ms. Coppalla on the otherhand, I will never forgive that bitch for "Lost in Translation." What a piece of garbage that was...wasted $20 on that stupid DVD ::)

I agree with you about "Lost in Translation," yet had Scarlett Johansson got naked in it, it would automatically be in my Top 20.

  12. Fincher, Peter Jackson, Tarantino, Kevin Smith (screw you, I love his films so I'm including him in my list) and the Coen brothers.
