    For you Beaker:

My pregnant wife and I were watching this game in a little Mexican place called Chavoya in Westville Village. I had a bunch of Tecates and about six shots of Cuervo Gold in me and spent the rest of the evening trying to talk her into naming our kid Tate.

    1. That lazy, empty, zen feeling of going to a midweek afternoon baseball game with a small crowd and not feeling like you better get pumped and enjoy the hell out of it because you're going to be spending $75 by the time you're done.

Even though I am a Canuckistani, so many of my early sports memories came from western NY TV, so here goes, in no particular order, for any WNYSportsJournalists.commers out there:

    Rick Azar
    Clip Smith
    Clipley's Believe It Or Don't
The Buffalo Braves (Ernie D, McAdoo, Dantley)
    The French Connection
    Biff Beeper
    Sabres game on channel 29
Highlights of games involving the Bonnies, Canisius and other schools I'd never heard of
    Ed Kilgore (pre-hairpiece)
    The Bills at the Rockpile
