Dude does have some skills but I don't get the national media hummer he's getting every week.

Of course I'm not getting the Carrie Underwood hummer he's getting either. Guess I'm just jealous.

    Simple.

There IS more ink. More web sites. More pregame shows. Longer pregame shows. And it happens that the Cowboys have been a national game more times than usual the past two months.

Whoever wins Super Bowl XLI will get more ink than the team that won Super Bowl XI or XXI or XXXI.

And that's in addition to the Cowboys-Parcells-T.O.-America's Team factor.

    The Clint Longley of 2006.

Perhaps, but Longley's legend was predicated on one half of one game....

Still, you remember it 34 years later...

It'd be great if he could meet a nice girl in a similar situation who could empathize.

    Oh, wait. . .

It wasn't tough to forecast that he was going to wilt as soon as someone (thank you, Jim Johnson) blitzed the shit out of him.

I'll second that, but Johnson's blitzes weren't to blame for T.O.'s drops. Romo's got some skills, but he went to Eastern Illinois, went undrafted and was a hat-wearing, clipboard holder for three years for a reason.
