Found this in a game story:

"[Tony Romo] had 13 TDs and five interceptions in his first seven games but has seven interceptions and four TDs in his last four."

Has the league caught up with him? Does Romo need to adjust? Which is the "real" Romo? To me, the composite seems accurate more than the hot and cold streaks.

Tony Romo is going out with Carrie Underwood.

Does it really matter how many interceptions he's throwing? :D

I thought he was going out with Carrie from SportsJournalists.com.

  4. I thought Carrie Underwood was dating the Seattle Seahawks' kicker?
I seem to recall reading a feature story on him a month or so ago.

Has anybody risen so far so fast in recent sports memory?

In August he was a clipboad-carrying nobody from Eastern Illinois.

In September he's in line to replace Drew Bledsoe.

In October he's the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys.

In November he lights up Tampa Bay on Thanksgiving Day for his national coming out party.

In December he's selected to play in the Pro Bowl.

Today he's high-sticking Carrie Underwood and is somehow still getting a pass for the Cowboys' performance the last three weeks.

Any way you cut it, it's good to be Tony Romo right now.

Yes it does matter. He'll be carrying groceries while Underwood is bringing home the bacon. That won't last.

Oh, and I thought she was with Chad Browna and he with Jessica Simpson. Carrie was sitting next to a longtime friend from Oklahoma, so a friend from up that way told me.

Clarify this by showing me the link that ties Carrie with Romo.

I've seen the google list...there's nothing there. My "source" tells me that Carrie was invited to sit in the luxury box by Romo last Thanksgiving. She brought one of her best friends, now working for her, as a gift since he grew up a Cowboys fan. Nothing more to that except a casual encounter and some flirting.

On the field, I guess Kurt Warner did all that and then some (wound up winning the Super Bowl).

Of course, there were no Carrie or Jessica sightings off the field.

    Just Brenda.

True, but he got his break because Trent Green got hurt. Romo was holding a clipboard when Parcells decided he had nothing to lose by putting him in a game.

And Warner crashed just as fast.

Let's not get carried away ... Kurt Warner had three pretty good seasons. Tony Romo had four pretty good games.
