    Oh, how vicious.

    Pretty funny, too.

And Heathers is one of my favorite movies.

You got your Slater, your Winona, your Shannon Doherty and a coupla hot blondes, and it's a terrific dark comedy.

Not to threadjack again...........I don't like Lasorda either.

I'd hate to be one of them hookers who had to see him naked.

Goddamn would someone tell me why I smoke this damn thing?
    Cause I'm paying you.
    Oh yeah that's it.

    Great quote; that's quintessential Tommy.

For decades, Tommy LaSorda was the best Dodgers plug man. He loves baseball. It is his life. One of the game's best ambassadors, his knowledge of the sport is incredible.
Sure he's part show man. Sure he's part pitch man. But he knows the game and knows that it needs to be promoted better than its being promoted now.

But it doesn't need to be promoted by a self-aggrandizing hypocrite.

    I think you are wrong.
This man is 80 years-old. He's earned the right to say what he feels. Those in baseball will attest that LaSorda has done nothing but carry himself as an ambassador of the sport. He's also championed many causes.
LaSorda is a good man and an even greater person, in my opinion.

  8. ...which is, as has been repeatedly demonstrated, valueless.
Might want to learn to spell his name, sport.

A good man and greater person?
Let's see...disowns his son for being gay...great person
Let's see...constantly portrays himself as a family man while having a penchant for hookers.
Let's see...tells everyone how bad kids are these days yet drops more f bombs than a Dennis Miller rant.

    Yes, I have.
But that has nothing to do with this.
I'm sure you've met him, too, just haven't said it yet.
But the fact remains - he's a hypocritical jerk.

I'm going to throw this out and see how widespread this story has become: do any of you know the Lasorda "blumpkin" story?
