To honor him, all of the late-night hosts should gratuitously smoke on air, laugh for no apparent reason and make sure their heads fill up 130% of the camera shot.

Fire up the colortinis and watch the pictures fly through the air.

    I loved Tom Snyder. RIP.

My favorite baseball joke was one he told on the air when he had the original Late, Late Show after Letterman:

A Scotsman is visiting a friend in the United States and the buddy decides to take him to his first baseball game. The friend is explaining the rules, how you hit the ball and run.

"So, it's like cricket?" the Scotsman asked.

    "Well, yeah."

A batter draws a walk so the Scotsman asked how come he didn't have to hit the ball and run.

The friend explained, "He has four balls."

The Scotsman bolts out of his seat and yells:

    "Walk with pride, man!"
