What difference does half a foot make?

I have to look at that one again, too.... That may have been an inch or two between the 47 and 48.

Joe Scarpati's placement of the ball on Dempsey's kick was much closer to the 37 than the 38. I'm guessing in those days, the rule was not as solid. I mean, it's almost touching the 37.

Columbo: Bound and determined to disprove every FG longer than 60 yds until Pete Stoyanovich (59 yds) is recognized as the real record holder. :D

It's clearly between the yard lines.

    Should be a 62-yarder.

It's clearly closer to being 63 yards than 62. Just saying. And yes, I know the current scoring rule.

It just bothers you that the few pro-Miami positions I have taken (Pujols as MVP, Jack Morris should be in the Hall of Fame, Joe Namath is the most overrated QB ever and perhaps the worst HOFer ever) are right as rain.....

I've posted this before: Kirk Gibson should have been out in 1988 when he hit his most famous home run, because he stepped out of the batter's box AND across home plate during his swing. Sadly enough for the A's, he got away with it.

few pro-Miami positions? Uhh...you've taken a lot more than three pro-Miami positions.

And how is Jack Morris a pro-Miami position?

I agree with you on that, BTW.

That's the point.... NONE is a pro-Miami position.
