How many black linebackers did Jim Brown run through?

I did forget Johnson. My bad. Plaxico as well.

Panthers version - all 14 years of it:

    1. Steve Smith
    2. Muhsin Muhammad
    3. Mark Carrier
    4. Raghib Ismail
    5. Donald Hayes
    6. Patrick Jeffers
    7. Willie Green
    8. Keyshawn Johnson
    9. Don Beebe
    10. Eric Guliford

No cheap Rae Carruth jokes, eh?

Seems pretty accurate but Owens is way too high. Slide Calvin Johnson in, take Roddy out.

My stab at a Patriots version:

    1. Troy Brown
    2. Stanley Morgan
    3. Randy Moss (short span, I know, but he already merits a spot this high)
    4. Irving Fryar
    5. Ben Coates (TE)
    6. Gino Cappelletti
    7. Terry Glenn
    8. Deion Branch
    9. Wes Welker
    10. Marv Cook (TE)

If TEs are allowed, Wesley Walls is probably third or fourth on the Panthers list.

And it's taking a lot for me NOT to place Moose over Ritalin Child. The latter has mind-spinning athletic gifts, but the former has been consistently solid for 10 seasons. Not to mention he doesn't punch out teammates.

My attempt at a list for the Steelers, without tight ends. I think the only list we had for Pittsburgh so far was the non-serious one Zag put up, which of course ignored anybody who played before the '70s.

    1.) John Stallworth
    2.) Hines Ward
    3.) Lynn Swann
    4.) Louis Lipps
    5.) Elbie Nickel
    6.) Yancey Thigpen
    7.) Buddy Dial
    8.) Roy Jefferson
    9.) Plaxico Burress
    10.) Ron Shanklin.

I'm probably forgetting somebody. It isn't a stories history and Santonio Holmes could eventually end up pretty high on this list.

Honestly, Carruth should be in the top 10 if judged on football alone.

He can ponder that while he's cornholed in his cell.

Troy Brown? Have you taken leave of your senses?

    And no tight ends allowed.

He'd be lucky to make it to No. 9. Even Keyshawn's one season with the Panthers was better than anything Rae Carruth did before his little off-field goof.

Still, Don Beebe and Eric Guliford had more significant contributions to the franchise during their short stays there than Carruth. About all Carruth did was keep changing numbers.

Bubbler, I admit Troy Brown is somewhat of a sentimental choice, but his long service is hard to ignore. I probably should have Cappelletti first, but not seeing him play, it's hard for me to compare his numbers.
