    I think most of you are missing the point here.

    The House declared May 13, 2008, Frank Sinatra Day.

    They voted today. May 20.

    None of you will ever edit copy for me. :D

    Actually, I did see that, and the quote about how the calendar snuck up on them. I'm just a little more intrigued by people who vote AGAINST these kind of bills. Or why lawmakers feel the need to have these kinds of bills in the first place.

    Lawmakers have these bills so that it looks like they are actually doing something besides cutting deals for their pork-barrell projects in the cloakroom.
