This is feral cop-related (these folks are protesting the making of future feral cops), so I suppose this can go here, right?
23 people charged with domestic terrorism for attacking the construction site of a police training facility near Atlanta. The protestors had Molotov cocktails, commercial-grade fireworks, rocks and bricks. There's video of at least one trailer and a front end loader burning on the site. Only two of the people arrested are from Georgia.

Curious teaser on the tweet from CNN as well.

That Atlanta standoff has been going on for months, and intensified after a protestor was killed by police.

Yeah, they referenced that in the story and had a link to an earlier story. He (allegedly) shot a Georgia state trooper while police were trying to clear the area. His mother, who lives in Panama, says she can't imagine her sweet angel carrying a gun.
This protest does not seem driven by local outrage.

You know you can make your own thread, right? You don’t have to keep doing this thing where you creep into the thread every so often with a “Well actually …” story that is the opposite of all the other posts on here.

This one honestly felt like it belonged here instead of a new thread. Didn't quite seem worth its own at this stage, although interesting, and since it involved a massive protest against the police it seemed like the most appropriate place.
