Do you think Rust (or as the story says Rush) will replace Toby?

Congrats to Toby. I've never met him, but from his posts here and on APSE, he seems like a good guy.

No offense to Toby (who seems cool), but who gives a fuck? This news is a month old.

Congrats to Toby. A good guy and a hard worker. Glad he found a newspaper that is willing to invest in the print product.

I was more interested in this, which I'm sure was already in a thread here that I missed:

"Florence (Ala.) Times Daily: Lead designer Ryan Sonner has taken a job outside the newspaper business."

    Congratulations, Sonner.

Congratulations to everyone who gets out on their own terms these days.

    EDIT:

    Loved this listing too:

"Times-Picayune: New Orleans Saints beat writer Teddy Kider has left to go to law school. His position is being filled internerly"

    So . . . filled by interns?

OMG. Now I know who Toby is.

He tried to turn me on to SportsJournalists.com at an APSE judging ... when I was at about post No. 4,000. ;D

An appropos Freudian slip, since the Oxymoron hails from the Cape.

I'll bet Teddy got sick of working for that dork Sutton ... talk about a real tulip ... congrats to Teddy.

think sonner's list of references read something like: "there's about 2,000 guys at an internet message board that believe i'm the second coming of tebow. contact: SportsJournalists.com."
