    Annual 48 hour softball tournament this past weekend, 3rd baseman takes one right in the jewels;

    Heard a clank, and ball bounces 30 feet sideways.

    Still dropped him.

    Fuckabuncha third base.

    Good thing he was wearing a cup, or there is stuff everywhere.

    "It was either that or 'Clang!'"

    Why do you have to bring up incidents like this?

    Was it Adrian Beltre?? Oops, guess not, he wasn't wearing one.

    Sounds like a great "Ask Hal the Referee question."
    Dear Hal if a first baseman is straddling the first baseline behind the bag, and has a foot in foul territory, and takes a line drive into the nuts that bounces fair or foul, how do you determine if it's fair or foul?
