    Let the guessing begin ... Biden's the safe pick here, but this year, how can it not be Dr. Faucci?

    Or, to follow BTExpress's way of thinking, and the fact that TIME's Person of the Year doesn't really even have to be a person anymore, my guess would be this: COVID-19.

    The virus defined the year considerably more than Trump. The odds of anything outshining him in an election year would have been astronomical on, oh, February 15.
