If Tebow has forgiven him, then you should too. All of us should.

He doesn't work as hard as Tyler Hansbrough.

    No problems with him here.

Do we hear too much about him? Probably. But if he started declining interview requests, we would slam him for that.

If he were shoving religion in our faces with every word he spoke, the resentment would be better understood. But by the same token, he shouldn't ever have to apologize for his beliefs. He's never come across as the sort who pushes his religion or agenda on anyone. But when reporters and various members of the media ask about it, he probably answers them honestly and completely, which both floors those who haven't talked to him before as well as making the subject the emerging theme when compiling notes about him.

In summary, better Tebow than the newest arrest out of Gainesville. Move on.

What if scientists combined Tebow's DNA with Hansbrough's DNA?
    They could create a demi-god.

The only name for that kid would be "Hustle."

That's my thing. The board's favorite media outlet - the WWL -- pushed him so hard over McFadden for the Heisman two years ago it was sickening. And then the BCS title game...whoever that announcer was should be banned from TV...or at least from ever doing a Florida game again. I bet he changed his pants 3 times.

It's the overkill of "how great and wonderful" he is. Sure he's a nice kid. A role model for youngsters in how he lives his non-football life, but give up the lovefest. And he plays for friggin Florida!!

You're talking about Thom Brennaman, who is the most overrated broadcaster there is. He consistently makes mistakes, speaks in cliches, and ruins the games he calls.

Anytime an athlete gets too much media attention, the haterade starts flowing.

That pretty much sums it up.

Except for Tyler Hansbrough. Everyone appreciates him no matter how much he gets hyped.
Because he works so darn hard.

Isn't he the one who said the team after a loss to a vastly inferior team was going to rally around the loss and get better much like America rallied after 9/11? Someone should tell him that things like this are, in fact, not why we've fought many wars.

But it's more fun to ridicule him after he makes such awesome statements.

In other SEC Media Day news, Tebow says he's a virgin. This just keeps getting better.

That's what's selling your newspapers there, Henry. Happy?
