Sabathia's numbers are pretty similar to Hudson's. I would argue that the difference (besides Sabathia being five years younger) is that Sabathia has been a dominant pitcher, while Hudson has not.

Pettitte has 248 wins, he'll get to 250. He'll have a sub 4.00 ERA. he's 19-11 in post season, 5 WS rings and 8 League pennants.

I'm guessing his admitted PED use will be enough to keep him out of Cooperstown.

He's the 1st PED user to go in

That would be one hell of a bold prediction.

And it would prove what a sham the voting is becoming. How the heck do you put him in ahead of Bonds? Because he said he was sorry? Bullshit.

When Pettitte's name comes up in five years (and for the next 15 after that), the voting will be a different story. The reporters will either be done puffing out their chests about it and they will get real, or they won't be voting anymore.

Would Lincecum be the first two-time Cy winner to not get in?

Looks like Saberhagen and McLain also aren't in.

Santana won't get in before Lincecum doesn't get it.

Is Halladay a lock already? I don't think his numbers are going to get that much better

Forgot about Santana. So that's four.

I would say it's 50-50 on Johan Santana getting in right now, if he doesn't play again.

He was the best pitcher in baseball for a five-year stretch. He would be the only pitcher you could say that about not to make it.

And yes, Roy Halladay is a lock.
